PHOENIX, AZ — August 26, 2026 — Gort Metals has successfully completed Phase 1 of a major Park-and-Ride project supporting Valley Metro, marking an important milestone in the multi-phase project. Completed on schedule, Phase 1 reflects Gort Metals’ commitment to reliable delivery, quality fabrication, and strong project coordination.
Working alongside Kiewit and Valley Metro, Gort Metals is providing its expertise in commercial steel shade and covered parking structures for the new shade canopy installation at the Baseline/Central Ave. This project provides much-needed relief for transit riders while enhancing the overall passenger experience. Projects like this demonstrate how thoughtful infrastructure investments can make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of Arizona residents.
